During my senior year with the help of my friends, I founded and was first president of the Parkland Chess Club which still exist today.  Since high school: I graduated Penn State Univeristy, went into accounting and settled in real estate.  I received historic renovation awards, won the 1999 National Croquet Championship for singles in first flight and runner up for doubles (I screwed up). I have a real estate brokers license where I give free referrals of top real estate agents to buyers and sellers.  I had one failed marriage and am enjoying one long happy marriage, where Gina and I share 3 sons.  I enjoy travel, plays, musikfest, golf (I suck), pickleball and all kind of games. I am excited to get together with my classmates and friends. It is now 2 months away from our 50th reunion.  I joined the reunion committee to help make this the best reunion ever.  After much work, we are now 96 and growing.  We can do more.  We need your help to spred the word. We have 3 events: 1.  Golf @ Twin Lakes 10/7/2022 2.  Free home footbal game 10/7/2022 7 PM at our original football stadium in Orefield, PA.  They will provide us with our own section and recognize us.  I need a head count, so call or text me 610 984-5249 by 8/31/2022. 3. Luncheon 1 to 5 pm @ Twin Lakes in a beautiful and newly renovated room. I can not wait, this will be really good. Tom Krause

I graduated with the class of '73, because I attended my senior year there, but I was away at prep school for 9th-11th. I went to James W. Good School in Cetronia from 1st through 6th with what would become the class of '73. Trying now to remember elementary teachers names. First was Miss Liddecoat, second Miss Williams, third was Mrs. Grim, fourth, Mrs. Haas, fifth and sixth elude me now. I was in jr. High with you guys at what used to be called Kratzer. Favorite teachers there were Mr. O'Conners in English and Mrs. Owens in Math, whom we mercilessly mocked with the nickname "fish lips".  I have lived in Vermont my whole adult life avoiding the rat race best I could. I am happily married in my second marriage and have three healthy grown sons. In spite of my life long atheism, I am blessed, proving that the Lord works in mysterious ways indeed. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me from our time together. %u262E%uFE0F

I have lived around the country in 8 states, traveled extensively and am now living in a lovely active 55 community near Lansdale (no snow shoveling, no lawn mowing) with my Emmaus-grad wife, Mary. I am semi-retired as an advisor and coach to corporate boards, still traveling and enjoying pickleball, billiards, swimming and other recreation.

We have two sons, the oldest living in south Philly and the younger living in northern Japan with his wife and son. We love going to Japan, lovely country and people.

50 years have gone by in a flash, and now we gather again for a reunion! Come join us and catch up!

Hey fellow Trojans!I am delighted to re-connect after so many years away.  My wife Mary (from Macungie, Emmaus HS) and I have been together nearly 33 years, and have two sons, Nicholas (28) who lives in Philly, and Stephen (26) who lives in Japan with his wife.  I have traveled much and have lived in eight states.  Last year I moved from Minnesota to N Virginia and am working in Washington DC running the University of Phoenix campus on Capitol Hill.  I\'ve been president of four colleges before this, general manager of several businesses, and started my career at WAEB and then ten years in marketing and operations with Time Warner (where we moved six times - very nomadic life). My family has stayed in the LV so we are happy to be back east near them, and looking forward to actually attending a reunion after many years!  If you are in DC, let me know!

I have enjoyed reading what everyone is doing.  I'm just sorry I did not find it earlier.   I moved to Tennessee after graduate school.  I am living in upper east Tennessee where I am a  program director of a Dental Assisting Program.   I also do eduational consulting for the American Dental Association.   I have two children, Jacob, age 20,  who is studying Digital Animation and Hillarie who is a freshman and not sure what she wants to do.  This web site was a great idea and I appreciate all the work that went into it.  THANKS

This is going to be a mind blowing experience.  I have not been back to Allentown since the day I left for college, except for a brief 2 hour pass through 30 years ago!   I feel like I am going to another planet! But I look forward to driving around and looking at my old homes and the high school, and getting the feel of the area again.   I left to go to Bucknell, then to Vanderbilt, then 25 years ago landed in Charlottesville, Virginia where I have lived since then, except for a few years overseas.   I have 3 kids; one graduated from Virginia Tech, the other at U. of Va., and the third a junior in high school.   I have always been terrible at names, so this Saturday night will be a challenge.   Thanks to Carol Woroniak for tracking me down about a year ago...see you all soon, Robyn Kerler

I live in Dallas, Texas with my crazy husband Jeff of almost 23 years. I am a licensed professional counselor by profession and specialize in working with children and adolescents for many years. I am an avid ballroom dancer and love road biking and being outside when that Texas sun is shining and that is quite often the case. I think I should have been a ballroom dancer or forest ranger; however it is too late for that!

Jeff is anything but laid back as he is a pastor, author, college instructor, host of a television program, (www.levitt.com)volunteer detective, police officer and firefighter and is still looking for more jobs!

We have two wonderful sons, Jacob age 20 (a second year college student preparing for a ministerial career) who is brilliant, calm, ethical, serious and wants to engage the culture through compassionate theology and Zack age 17 (attending college and a high school senior concurrently) who is an artistic, assertive, passionate musician who wants to impact the world through worship music

Being this age sure gives you and interesting perspective, and I wonder what else is to be done with the passion, time and energy left inside of me! Look forward to communicating with anyone who is interested.

I will not be able to attend this reunion, however if any future events take place in the summer I will make it a priority to come.

Hi!  I am still living in the valley and have been working as an instructional aide in Parkland for the last 5 years.  After graduated from Penn State I spent 2 years as a city and regional planner in northeast PA.  Have been married to Chris for 32 years and have Beth (30) and Andy (26).  I was a stay at home mom for many years and then worked in East Penn SD for 10 years; my husband is a middle school principal.  Beth also graduated from Penn State and then completed medical school.  She is a pediatric anesthesiologist in Syracuse.  She and her husband have a son, Jacob.  My son graduated from Drexel and is a computer programmer/analyst.  He is still single.  Love to travel and spend time with Jacob.  Wish I could see you all.

Where to start? I Have been involved in many bussiness over the years. Beginning with constuction and rehabbing farm houses and barns. Then got involved in allentown, in a building i named Phoenix Square, large old warehouse, where i created different business's, such as the Phoenix Antiques MArket, two different night clubs, and a gym  that randy beitler and i built. Since then i created a pub called The Macungie Pub, sold it last year and now have the Leather Corner Post. I enjoy adventure trips, like rowing the colarodo river for 2 weeks, and things like kyaking the british virgin islands, and any other types of adventure i can find.  I have two kids my son Andre played soccer for parkland and graduated with academic achevment having straight A's the entire 4 years at parkland {go figure} where was my head at his age. We toured england and ireland with him as they played soccer tournaments through out the countrys. He just gratuated from Bucknell University with a degree in Electrical Enginnering , but went into finance with hedge funds in New York, well you all know that story finance has changed in the last two months, so he is now    looking for another job. My daughter played soccer and hockey for parkland and is now at Bloomsburg in her second year. My wife lisa works part time at Banana Republic at the Prominade Mall in Center valley. And of course we still live in the area near Fogelsville next to the Glasbern Inn, and down the road from beitler. Still love to hike the knob, hawk mountain, and Pinnacle.  See every one at the post and reunion.

Nice to hear a reunion is being planned again, although I probably won't make it to this one.  I'm still living in the Lehigh Valley with no plans to move anywhere else.

My hubby Keith (PHS class of '69) & I just celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary on 10/1/08.  We have two surviving children (lost a son at age 3 1/2), Tammy - 34 & Christopher - 35 & two grandchildren, Chase (9) & Casie (7).

I worked for Cross Country Clothes for almost 20 years til they closed in '95 at which time I went to the Allentown Business School and earned my Associates Degree.  After that I started working at Air Products & Chemicals (Customer Support) and have been there for the past nine years.

Hobbies:  Bowling (Tammy bowls with us too) & going to Country Concerts.

How can you sum up 36 years in a paragraph? You can't. So please come to the reunion, have some laughs, some tears, and a lot of fun!

I am currently a structural engineer with Pennoni Associates, married to Bob for 29 years, & have a daughter Amanda, 20.  We moved back to PA after Amanda was born so she could be raised around family.

I left the demands of consulting engineering when Amanda was born and dabbled in other things. I was a substitute teacher at Orefield for several years so ask your kids if the had Mrs. Lenz (the shadow letter teacher).

Hope you see you soon!!

Hi All and Thanks for visiting the site. I am in the Valley and sell dead chickens at the Allentown Farmer's Market. Many of our class and our teachers shop there. Stop by and check us out! My second marriage is only two years old and life is wonderful. My daughter, Julia (21), and son, Michael (19) are both PSU students. After a 10 year stint in the food end of the traveling carnival business, and a couple of years in an independent restaurant, S.L. Fingers in Allentown, I am thrilled to be here in our old stomping grounds. We now live in Fleetwood (read: even more Dutchy than Lehigh Valley). Walt and Carol are right; this reunion planning has been a BLAST. John Jaindl has been a more than gracious host to each meeting and connecting with Al, Germaine, Sid, Randy, Sam and Marianne and others is fantastic. We are excited to see everyone in November!!!
